A Little Wild Bundle by Stampin' Up!

I have been very excited to get to play with this set.  I need a 36 hour day to have as much "paper play time" as I'd like to have!

This card would be perfect for a baby shower or just to accompany a gift for a new arrival.

When I made this card, I started with the main background, working with water colour pencils and the blender pens.  The water from the High Tide stamp set provided dimension for the grass.

Next I stamped and coloured and die cut the bear, the bee hive and the bees.  It was great fun playing with all of the elements until I was happy with their positions.

Finally, everything was assembled and I was delighted with the results.  I wanted it to be usable for boy or girl so decided to use the old olive card base.

If you'd like to make this card, all of the 'ingredients' are listed below with a direct link to my online store if you click on the picture of the item

Hope you enjoy this card!  Please leave me a comment!

Daisy Delight Bundle by Stampin' Up!

I've been drawn back to working with the Daisy Delight Bundle because of how easy it is to make a fabulous card using these supplies.  The details on how I made it follow the photo of the card:

The first thing I want to share with you is the way that I coloured the flower petals.  I stamped one layer with Pool Party and the second with Tranquil Tide.  Then I used the blender pen to give the ink a more natural blended look.  Seriously, these pens may be my favourite tool when making cards!  I can't live without them.

The background under the daisy was created by inking a size D clear block and then applying it to the paper.  I love the look that it gives!

I wanted the card to pop so chose to use the lemon lime card stock with a piece of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment was stamped in tranquil tide and the Pool Party Bakers Twine give it all a finishing touch.

If you need any of the supplies to complete this card, just click on the item below and you'll be taken to my online store to make your purchase.

Thanks for looking!

I'd love to hear your comments!

Country Living Stampin' Up! Stamp Set

The "Country Living" stamp set is not new, but it's new to me.  I've looked at it for a long time and it really appealed to me.  Finally, I've added it to my collection and I sure enjoyed making a few new cards with it.  I really love how this one turned out!

I used the Woodland Embossing folder on the background which is from the Eastern Palace DSP.  I wanted the trees to show more so next I coloured them in using the White Stampin' Chalk Marker.  Such fun to play and shade in the trees.

The boots were stamped in Chocolate Chip, then coloured in using the watercolour pencils and finally the blender pens to distribute the colour.  The sentiment (from Watercolor Wings stamp set) is stamped in Dapper Denim to match the card base and background colour.  Both pieces of Whisper White card stock were cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I wanted the card to have a little 'bling' so I added the Glitter Enamel Dots.  Those dots are fabulous because the are all sparkley and shaded.

Here is my supply list...and as always clicking on any of them will take you to my online store.  Be sure to scroll down below the list to see the other two cards I made from the Country Living set.

Stampin' Up! Pick a Pattern Suite

This suite was on my first order from the new 2017-2018 Catalogue.  I absolutely love it and can see endless potential for cards with it.  Here is just one:

The card is so simple and basic but the combination of the elements used make it look super (IMHO)!  The background is applied to a Crumb Cake card stock base.  I played around cutting out critters from the  Pick a Pattern DSP and in the end decided to use them all.  The more the merrier!  A few strips of washi from the Pick a Pattern Washi tape rolls and a sentiment stamped from the Pieces & Patterns stamps and it's done. It's all there on page 41 of the catalogue.

And here are the direct links to my online for you to order anything from the suite that you need to be able to copy this card.  Please do!
